Shutdown! This cannot be!! We were supposed to be heading to Olympic National Park tomorrow. All National Parks will be closed due to the Shutdown. Our journey in the US is heavily based on National Parks. I will be so very sad if the parks stay closed! I feel terrible that I am even complaining about this, but the Shutdown will significantly affect our journey! Well, that’s life. It will all work out! We will just have to figure out a Plan B! 🙂 We will post more tomorrow about Seattle. We are now going to stay an extra day in Seattle to figure out what we are going to do if the National Parks stay closed and we are going to take the Boeing Factory tour where they build the 747, 767, 777, and 787.
